The UM Library is one of the technical implementation units (UPT) that underlies and supports the implementation of the tertiary education system at UM. The UM library includes the Central Library at the university level and the faculties and institutions located in all faculties and institutions at UM. The UM Library is a blended library which is the academic infrastructure of higher education. In addition to physical collections, the UM Library also has a digital collection that can be accessed by users from anywhere. Furthermore, in line with the Master Plan of University Development and the direction of higher education policy in the era of Industrial Revolution 4, the UM Library was also directed as an open ecolibrary library which provided flexibility and convenience for the visitors to carry out various academic, educational and intellectual activities which are productive and useful.
In full, the UM Library includes buildings and open spaces which are a blended library and open ecolibrary wholeness. Physically the Central Library is located in the middle of the UM campus by occupying a three-story building with a building area of ​​5,325 m2. Outside the building there is a green open space. Here there is a plaza, gazebo, and lobby connected to internet networks that can be used comfortably for learning.
