Universitas Negeri Malang also conducts special programs such as: 1) Indonesian Language Teaching Program for Non-Native Speakers in collaboration with Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), and 2) English language course known as the Pre-Departure English Training Course (PDETC) for those who will continue their studies overseas. Other special programs is Matriculation Programs for Associates (D2/D3); Matriculation Program for Undergraduate( S1) Indonesian Language for Non-Native Speakers (Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing / BIPA) on Indonesian Language and Indonesian Culture for Foreigners and Critical Language Scholarship (CLS).
