The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) held a workshop for drafting EQUITY (Enhancing Quality Education for International University Impacts and Recognition) program reports to support the institution’s participation in THE Impact Ranking 2025–2026. The event took place over two days, from April 19–20, 2026, at the Santika Premiere Hotel Malang.

This activity is one of UM’s strategic steps in improving the quality of performance reporting on the international stage. Furthermore, the workshop aims to accelerate the preparation of progress reports to be uploaded via the ERISPRO platform, while simultaneously optimizing the implementation of the EQUITY program during the 2025–2026 period.

Several key leaders attended the event, including the Vice Rector III and Chairperson of the EQUITY THE Impact Ranking 2025–2026 Program, Prof. Dr. Markus Diantoro, M.Si.; Vice Rector IV, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Munjin Nasih, S.Pd., M.Ag.; Chairperson of LPPM UM, Prof. Aji Prasetya Wibawa, S.T., M.MT., PhD.; Secretary of LPPM UM, Dr. Hary Suswanto, S.T., M.T.; along with the Persons in Charge of the EQUITY THE Impact Ranking 2025–2026 Program and the support team.

Through this workshop, LPPM UM seeks to enhance coordination between the work units involved in the EQUITY program. This collaboration is considered crucial to ensure that all data, achievements, and indicators are compiled systematically, accurately, and in compliance with international reporting standards.

In addition to strengthening synergy between units, this activity is also expected to reinforce a collective commitment to improving institutional performance, particularly regarding THE Impact Ranking indicators. With more structured and measurable reporting, UM hopes its ranking among world universities will continue to rise. Overall, this workshop demonstrates UM’s dedication to implementing performance-based reporting governance and strengthening the role of higher education in supporting global sustainable development goals.
