Poor-  The outbreak of COVID-19 or what is often referred to as the 2019 coronavirus has a huge impact on the cycle of human activities. This impact can be seen in some areas in Indonesia that are implementing regional lockdowns or local lockdown. Currently in Indonesia, there are only 3 regions that have restricted access in and out of the region, including Tegal, Tasikmalaya, and Papua. In addition, the government also limits social interactions in the community to prevent transmission of COVID-19 and recommends staying silent at home, as a result all activities are not too much. urgent done online.

One example is the lecture activity that has been running for several weeks since the introduction of online lectures or on line. The implementation of online lectures at the State University of Malang (UM) has resulted in a slight difference in the systematics of academic activities, such as online thesis proposal seminars, lecture activities that maximize the use of teachers, google classroom, google meet, youtube, and so on. Not only academic activities undergo systematic changes in non-academic activities, too, for example, activities of student organizations.

One of the student organizations at the university is the Student Executive Board (BEM) which was also affected. Several work programs that were supposed to be implemented within the next two months had to be postponed. Ivanka Harits Darwisy as Vice President of BEM UM stated that there were approximately 10 work agendas or programs that should have been implemented, such as visits to PP2 and PP3 as well as BEM forums throughout Malang Raya.

"For the agenda or work program during the COVID-19 outbreak, we will stop it first and will adjust it to the time of the next semester. For example, there is an agenda that can beonpioneered, it can be online, "said the Vice President of BEM UM, emphasizing the policy of BEM UM in the current situation. Ivanka also explained further that it was endeavored to hold an online work program in order to discuss future work programs.

To distribute real service to the community, BEM UM takes part in helping the UM COVID-19 Task Force under the management of UM Public Relations in collaboration with all BEM Faculties, UM dormitories, NGOs, and Mawapres. "It aims to collect and distribute donations to the vanguard (medical personnel) and UM residents," said the physics student.
