Poor. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) State University of Malang (UM) held a forum for meeting parents of students with the leaders of FMIPA UM on Friday (14/03) at Graha Cakrawala UM. This activity, which has been held for 4 consecutive years, is an effort to increase the role of parents in achieving university success for 2019 FMIPA UM students.

Dean of FMIPA UM Prof. Hadi Suwono, M.Si delivered a briefing as well as opened this meeting. The concept of introducing the FMIPA UM academic community always initiates a meeting forum which begins with the introduction of the Dean, Deputy Deans, Head of the Department, Secretary of the Department and all FMIPA UM ranks. In accordance with the vision of FMIPA UM to become a superior faculty and become a reference in the implementation of the tridharma of higher education in the fields of mathematics and natural sciences and their learning, FMIPA UM strongly supports research and innovation in the field of science. This is evidenced by acquisition The Learning University Awards Science and Technology Group Student Affairs given by UM Rector Dr. Hah. Rofiuddin, M.Pd at the Peak of the 65th Anniversary and Lustrum XIII of the State University of Malang in 2019.

On this occasion, Prof. Hadi conveyed the accreditation of ten FMIPA study programs with seven accredited A study programs, two accredited B study programs and one new study program had not yet been accredited. Not only that, but the undergraduate physics and biology undergraduate study programs have been successfully accredited internationally in ASEAN. Prof. Hadi also said that in the future all study programs in FMIPA will submit applications for international accreditation in Europe. "Not only the S1 Physics and Biology study programs are internationally accredited, in the future we will propose for international accreditation for several other study programs and will apply for international accreditation throughout Europe," he explained.

Giving awards for students with the highest GPA in each study program was also the moment that students had been waiting for at this event. Nurul Badiatul Laila Aprilia (S1 Mathematics Education), Fani Rahmawati Husna (S1 Mathematics), Frida Setia Tarisalia (S1 Physics Education), Zulfara Imrotus Tsaniya (S1 Physics Education), Tica Laudita Nabilah (S1 Physics), Ibnatullatiefah (S1 Chemistry Education) , Erni Hidhayatur Rohmah (S1 Chemistry), Risza Nuril Samsiyah (S1 Biology Education), Dea Audina (S1 Biology), Fanny Putri Danissa (S1 Science Education), Izdhira Arini Aulia (Biotechnoloi S1) are students with the highest GPA odd semester 2019.
