Poor. Real Work Lecture (KKN) which is a compulsory academic activity for students of the State University of Malang (UM) this time is interesting considering that it was held in the conditions of the covid-19 virus pandemic. And this is the first time that student service activities have been managed and implemented through an online or online model.

In the Covid-19 edition of the KKN guidebook published by the Regional Resource Center and KKN LP2M, it is explained that the registration process, grouping, placement, provision of students and various models of service, daily monitoring all use an online model. Chairman of LP2M Prof. Markus Diantoro, M.Si, in a general briefing at the opening of the online briefing Saturday (16/5) emphasized the importance of continuing to carry out KKN academic activities in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the theme of KKN this time is from student homes making community service works, students You do not need to live in the village where you are assigned to but still work based on the results of the needs analysis carried out, maintaining health is important but still doing lectures should not be left behind, said the professor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the end of his lecture.

Meanwhile the Head of the Regional Resources and Community Service Center (PSWKKN) Dr Agung Winarno, MM informed that the KKN this time there were 3 (three) types, namely KKN Returning to Kampung, namely students serving in their respective hometowns, KKN Malang Raya and thematic KKN Study Program . The number of students who took part was 4,341 students from various study programs, and involved 165 assistants, of which students were placed in 239 villages in 20 districts in East Java Province.

Furthermore, the head of the PSWKKN explained that in this KKN students were also asked to help the government in efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus through the production of videos and guide books on how the village community took an active role in overcoming the pandemic this time, besides that services became volunteering in villages can also be done while maintaining health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
