Jakarta. The 2019 National Culture Week (PKN) Festival was successfully held on Monday-Sunday (7-13 / 10). In this event, which is related to Indonesian culture, a variety of distinctive cultures are displayed, including traditional games, traditional food and traditional dances in Indonesia. Taking place at the Palace of Sports (Istora) Senayan, Jakarta, this attracts the attention of various elements of the capital's community to make this event a success. The 2019 PKN theme is “Happy Indonesia” which presents one of the lyrics from Indonesia Raya. With that, it is hoped that the Indonesian people will be proud of the culture and traditions of the archipelago's ancestors.

State University of Malang (UM) as one of the leading universities in Indonesia did not escape the success of this event, where 2 students were selected as the committee, namely Nuri Riskian and Utari Nur Rahmadhanty and 1 team that presented the results of their research entitled "Ayadub" consisting of Aprillia maya puspita. , Imroatul Karimah (English Literature 17), Tenty Luay Sari, Muhammad Yazid Al fikri (Electrical Engineering 17).

Utari Nur Rahmadhanty, a 2016 UM PLB student, expressed his pride in being part of this event.

"It feels great to be able to participate in this activity because a lot of knowledge is gained, especially during conferences, a lot of knowledge from great people, from creating new innovations to maintaining a culture that is rarely seen. We hope that this PKN will be even more proud of Indonesia and not forget our culture, "he said.

There were a lot of performers in this event ranging from Didi Kempot, Danila, Glen Fredly, NDX AKA and many others. The closing was held on Sundays with a parade of all provinces in Indonesia, presenting various very interesting indigenous cultures.
