Dr. Zulkarnain, M.Pd., M.Si Delivered the material

Poor. Out of School Education Study Program (PLS) State University of Malang (UM) on Wednesday (1/7) held a 'canngkrukan' with the theme of optimizing learning. Activities like this are routinely carried out by the PLS Study Program. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, activities were carried out online using the zoom platform.

The resource persons who attended this cangkrukan activity were the Head of PLS Study Program, Dr. Ishak Maulana M.Pd., Lecturer at PLS FIP UM, Dr. Zulkarnain, M.Pd. M.Si., Lecturer in Sociology, FIS UM, Dr. H. Abd Latif Bustami, M.Si., Head of UPT PTIK UM, Mahmuddin Yunus, S.Kom. M.Cs., and Trunojoyo University Lecturers, Dias Putri Yuniar, S.Pd. M.Pd. In addition to the resource persons, the PLS Cangkrukan was also attended by department students, alumni, lecturers, staff, and education fighters in Indonesia.

"Here we can dialogue, exchange ideas, exchange information, we are looking for the best solution for the future of education in the formal and non-formal fields," said Dr. Ishak Maulana, M.Pd. in his speech.

Furthermore, Dr. Ishak also conveyed, with the theme of optimizing this learning, later the discussion will focus on how the learning process can be optimized so that later results are as expected. "Participants can also ask the experts directly about what kind of problems they often encounter in the field," he explained.

 Dr. Zulkarnain, M.Pd., M.Si said that there are 3 processes that cannot be separated from optimizing learning. "Optimizing learning is inseparable from how the academic service process is, how is the process of academic quality, and how is the process of academic satisfaction. Moreover, the current curriculum is life-based, so the three processes are very important, ”he explained.
