Poor. In order to maximize the efforts of the State University of Malang (UM) to raise the rank of universities in the national and international levels, the UM ranking team held a socialization of filling in performance report indicators at the AKPIK Bureau on Friday (03/05) at the Ubud Malang Hotel. This socialization was attended by around 80 employees of the Bureau of Academic, Student Affairs, Planning, Information and Cooperation (BAKPIK).

The socialization was opened by Drs. Taat Setyohadi, head of student affairs and material delivered by the head of the university level ranking team, Utomo Pujianto, S.Kom, M.Kom.

"Our target in 2022 will be ranked 10. We are trying our hardest and also of course to achieve that cost. Please play a maximum role in providing data so that our ranking will be even better, "said Taat before opening the socialization.

There are differences in ranking indicators from the previous year by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Ristekdikti). If the previous year there were 5 big indicators, this year there were 4 big indicators which were divided into 15% inputs with 5 indicators, 25% processes with 6 indicators, 25% outputs with 4 indicators, and 35% outcomes with 5 indicators. In addition to the ranking from Ristekditi, UM also imposes an internal rating for both lecturers and education personnel. This will be competed in the form of UM Awards which will be held as one of the agendas at Lustrum UM.

"The purpose of holding this socialization apart from providing material is to transmit the spirit that we are trying to raise the rankings. Encouraging efforts to create a better database system, all the performance that has been done by the academic community can be recorded properly so that it can be reported maximally to Ristekdikti, "explained Utomo Pujianto, the speaker in this socialization.
