Poor. State University of Malang (UM) conducted a comparative study to the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Ganesha University of Education (UNDIKSHA). The activity which took place on Tuesday (11/2) was attended by Prof. Dr. Budi Eko Sutjipto M.Ed M.Si, Prof. Dr. ME. Winarno M.Pd, Dr. Sapto Adi, M.Kes, Dr. dr. Moch Yunus M.Kes, dr. Sendhi Tristanti P, M.Kes and dr. Anindya Hapsari M.Kes. The activity took place at the central campus of the UNDIKSHA Rectorate since 08.30 WITA. UNDIKSHA as the host revealed several things about FK to representatives from UM. 

UM does not have a FK at this time. UNDIKSHA explained that the establishment of a FK must meet the requirements listed in Perkonsil No. 15 of 2013. Where these requirements include human resources, facilities and infrastructure, curriculum, health education land and teaching hospitals. Not only that, the establishment of a FK must also be accompanied by a FK from another university that has been accredited A as a condition.

UNDIKSHA itself recently had a FK on its campus. They started pioneering in 2009 and only received a permit for establishment on July 16 2018. In addition to the requirements based on the Perkonsil that must be met, a funding commitment for the establishment of FK is also absolutely necessary. This is also related to the development process that has stalled due to cost issues.

UNDIKSHA believes that UM can have a FK just like UNDHIKSA did. They thought that UM had fulfilled all the abilities needed to build a FK on its campus. Only real action is needed to make it happen.
