Poor. Distance Learning Program Unit-Open University (UPBJJ-UT) Malang, again held the Certificate Handing Ceremony (UPI) activity. This activity was held at Graha Cakrawala State University of Malang (UM) on Sunday (16/02). UPI, which started at 08:00 WIB, was attended by the Dean of UT, Deputy Rector I of UM, Head of UPBJJ-UT Malang, all invited guests, and graduates. This time UPI was attended by 1,263 graduates, dominated by 1,169 from the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP), 33 from the Faculty of Law, Social and Political Sciences (FHISIP), and 61 from the Faculty of Economics (FE).

In his remarks, the Chancellor represented by the Dean of FKIP UT, Prof. Drs. Udan Kusmawan, MA, Ph.D. expressed his gratitude for the cooperation that exists between UT Malang and UM. "With very good cooperation, we can jointly publish quality scholars. So we really appreciate the partnership that has been established between UT Malang and UM "he said.

In his remarks, he also expressed his hope that in the future the cooperation that has been established is closer and better, "God willing, in the future with the Ministry of Education and Culture's direction regarding freedom of learning, I think it can strengthen cooperation both in practice and formally. UM students can enter and take courses at UT and maybe UT students can take courses at UM, "he continued.

In his remarks from UM Vice Rector I Partner Colleges, Prof. Dr. H. Budi Eko Soetjipto, M.Ed., M.Si stated the importance of graduation in education. "This graduation is a very important moment in educational life, especially higher education," he said.
