In order to attract new prospective students who have academic abilities, high motivation, and skills to attend and complete education on time, the Postgraduate Program at State University of Malang (UM) opens new student registration for Masters (S2) and Doctoral Program (S3) Even Semester Years Academic 2019/2020 online on line.

A. GENERAL REQUIREMENT

1. MASTER PROGRAM (S2)

  • Graduated from a Bachelor (S1) or Applied Bachelor (D4) program whose diploma is recognized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and has accreditation of B or A.
  • Have an educational background in the field or study program that is in line with the chosen study program to be followed.
  • Have sufficient English language skills to participate in the Master Program education by attaching a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 450. 
  • Obtaining recommendations from 2 (two) former senior lecturers or professors who know him, or from a workplace boss who states that prospective students have the ability and academic achievement and / or persistence and good work performance (format can be downloaded at http://seleksi.um.ac.id, latest announcement).
  • Physically and mentally healthy as stated by a health certificate from a doctor.
  • Passed the screening exam / entrance test for the Postgraduate Program of State University of Malang.
  • Compulsory to take part in a scientific paper writing workshop after it has passed the screening exam / entrance test

2. PROGRAM DOCTOR (S3)

  • Graduated from the Masters Program (S2), Applied Masters, foreign Masters Programs whose diplomas are recognized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and have an accreditation level of B or A.
  • Have an educational background in the field or study program that is in line with the chosen study program to be followed. Candidates whose educational background is not suitable can be accepted with the obligation to take additional courses determined by the study program concerned.
  • Have sufficient English language skills to attend Doctoral Program education by attaching a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 500.
  • Obtaining recommendations from 2 (two) former senior lecturers or professors who know him, or from a workplace boss who states that prospective students have the ability and academic achievement and / or persistence and good work performance (format can be downloaded at http://seleksi.um.ac.id, latest announcement).
  • Physically and mentally healthy as stated by a health certificate from a doctor.
  • Passed the screening exam / entrance test for the Postgraduate Program of State University of Malang.

C. REGISTRATION

Registration of UM Postgraduate new students is done online on line on the page http://seleksi.um.ac.idunder the condition:

  1. Registration from 2 to 16 December 2019.
  2. Registration fee of IDR 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand rupiah).

Registration fees that have been deposited for any reason cannot be refunded.

  • Procedure for registration on line:
    1. Prospective participants pay the registration fee for the State University of Malang (UM) Postgraduate Admissions Selection via Bank BRIBank BNIBank BTNMandiri Bank and Bank CIMB Niaga on line throughout Indonesia, by stating / showing one of the identity card numbers (KTP / SIM).
    2. After making a payment, prospective participants will receive proof of payment containing: (1) Identity number and (2) PIN UM Postgraduate Registration is 10 digits long. Identity Number and PIN are confidential.
    3. Participants do registration on line through the page http://seleksi.um.ac.id by preparing: (1) Proof of Payment, (2) Scan of a diploma, (3) The latest self-portrait file in color 60%-80%, front view JPG / PNG format with a maximum resolution of 400 × 600 px, a maximum file of 100 kB.
    4. Participants enter Identity Number and PIN (listed on proof of payment) in the box provided, then press the button Login.
    5. Participants fill in the biodata according to the instructions on the registration page, as well Print Biodata and Proof of Registration Card on line.
    6. Evidence of registration cards must be signed by the prospective participant and valid as a Participant Identity Card for the selection of Prospective Postgraduate Students at State University of Malang, Even Semester 2019/2020.

D. ACADEMIC ADVICE

Written examinations for new student registration participants of the State University of Malang Postgraduate Even Semester 2019/2020 are held in each faculty of State University of Malang, Jl. Semarang 5 Malang, dated 19 December 2019 start at 08.00 WIB.

  1. Test materials: Academic Potential Test, English, and Field of Study.
  2. Completeness that must be brought / submitted to the committee when taking the written test:
    1. Proof of Registration Card on line Selection of UM Postgraduate New Student Admissions.
    2. Print out Registration bio on line Selection of UM Postgraduate New Student Admissions.
    3. Photocopy of S1 diploma for Masters Program participants (S2); or Photocopies of S1 and S2 diplomas for Doctoral Program (S3) participants attached with transcripts that have been legalized, not Certificate of Graduation (SKL).
    4. Two recent self-portrait, color, 3 × 4 cm.
    5. TOEFL Certificate
    6. Photocopy of Study Program Accreditation
    7. Recommendation of 2 Lecturers

G. MISCELLANEOUS

  1. A study program can be held if the number of participants accepted meets the minimum limit set by the MU.
  2. The concentration of Vocational Education (PKJ) and S2 Basic Education (Dikdas) Study Programs will be opened if the number of enthusiasts for each concentration is at least 7 people. If the number of applicants is less than 7 people, then participants are included in the General PKJ Concentration for PKJ Study Programs, and Class Teacher Education for Primary Education Study Programs.
