Message from the Chairperson of LP3

Poor. Training Applied Approach (AA) was again held by the Institute for Educational and Learning Development (LP3) State University of Malang (UM) on Monday (09/03) at H8 Building. The opening of the activity was attended by the Vice Chancellor I, Deputy Chancellor II, the Chairperson of LP3, the LP3 secretary and several heads of centers in LP3. This annual activity which is attended by 74 lecturers will be carried out for three days face to face and monitoring assignments until the end of this even semester. The activity was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Budi Eko Soetjipto, M.Ed, M.Si.

"Applied Approach is a mandatory activity for lecturers to become expert assistants. One package with Pekerti activities that were carried out in 2019. Indeed, it has become a stipulation of UM staffing standards that to become an Expert Assistant one must have attended Pekerti Training and Applied Approach, "Explained I Wayan Dasna as the head of LP3 in his speech.

He added that the aim of AA is to train participants to design learning, then the design will be applied. The scope of the learning design is a life-based learning approach.

There are several materials that will be followed by 74 lecturers participating in the Applied Approach, including Learning Paradigm in Higher Education, Curriculum and Learning Design Development, Total Quality Management, Development of Teaching Materials in Bended Learning, Learning Media Development, Learning Evaluation and Assessment, and Device Development Learning. Then participants will get assignments that must be completed at the end of this semester. LP3 UM will carry out continuous monitoring related to this task. You cannot even take the certificate if the task has not been completed.

"We hope that you can stay here with the enthusiasm of studying the materials, following directions from the resource persons, and doing your assignments properly. We also hope that the use of Sipejar should be maximized as much as possible, all materials can be uploaded there so that students can have access to the material to be studied during the next semester. This will greatly support the learning process in the classroom later, "said UM Vice Rector I in his opening remarks.
