UM Vice Rector 1 gave a speech

Poor. State University of Malang (UM) admitted 11 students from the University of Jember (UNEJ) and the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (UNTIRTA) in the credit transfer program. Due to the pandemic, which is still endemic, activities were carried out online through the Zoom platform on Tuesday (8/9).

This activity was attended by the head of LP3 UM Drs. I Wayan Dasna, M.Sc., M.Ed., Ph.D., university leaders, faculty leaders, and department leaders from UM, UNEJ and UNTIRTA, lecturers and 11 students who participated in the credit transfer program at UM.

"There are 11 students who take part in the credit transfer program at UM this year. Increased from the previous year which was only 6 students. 6 students come from Unej and 5 more students from Untirta, 8 students take Biology study program, 2 students take Chemistry study program and 1 student take Biology Education study program "said Drs. I Wayan Dasna in his report.

In his remarks UM Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Budi Eko Soetjipto, M.Ed., M.Si hopes that in the future the cooperation will continue. "In the future I hope this will continue. If later UNEJ or UNTIRTA sends 6 students to UM, UM will also send 6 students. " Prof. explained. Dr. Budi.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Budi also conveyed that this credit transfer activity was related to the independent learning program. Where students can take courses outside their study program whether it is still within the scope of the campus or outside their home campus.

From the credit transfer program, UNEJ Vice Rector I Drs. Zulfikar, Ph.D. hopes that later students will get a different learning experience from each campus. With this different learning experience, it will help students develop their potential.
