Poor. Regeneration of the association of ambassadors for the State University of Malang (UM) campus is routinely carried out every year. In 2019, the Campus Ambassador Selection will start the first selection stage on Saturday (21/9). Located in the hall of the H3 UM building, a total of 210 participants prepared to take part in a series of selections in the first stage, namely written tests and interviews. Starting at 08.00 WIB, the participants attended with a neat and attractive appearance.

In this first stage, each participant will be assessed based on their insights about the UM campus and the personality of the participants themselves. Through the written test the participants are expected to be able to meet the criteria of a campus ambassador who carries the good name of the alma mater in communicating with external parties and through the interview test the participants will be tested based on their personality and abilities. public speaking, and the ability to organize. As a representative figure of UM students, a campus ambassador is expected to be able to provide a good attitude reflection. Therefore, through this first stage, participants will be selected based on their basic ability to position themselves to interact with external parties.

"Actually, the most important criteria in selecting a campus ambassador is about attitude because it is like the duty of the campus ambassadors themselves who represent UM students where in the future they will meet UM officials and external parties, "said Gebby Alicasany as the event coordinator.

Overall, there are 3 stages of selection in the selection of UM campus ambassadors. Through this first stage, there will be 60 participants with 30 male participants and 30 female participants. A number of participants who pass the first stage will conduct a session open presentation in the second stage (22/9) where participants will provide their innovative ideas related to the UM campus. Through this stage, there are 40 participants (20 male participants and 20 female participants) who will pass to the next stage. In the third stage, participants will do a talent show (talent show) before the jury and the audience. This selection stage will be held on 27 September and the awarding night will be held on 16 October 2019 at Graha Cakrawala UM. Each stage is a challenge that is none other than to form a campus ambassador figure that ideally represents UM students.
