Poor. The final of the Ilimiah Writing Competition and National Essay with the theme "Millennial Innovation in Optimizing Resources as Implementation of SDG's 2030" organized by the Geography Department Student Association (HMJ) Malang State University (UM) was held on Saturday (13/04). Volcano Scientific Competition "VOSICO" 2019 is an annual work program from HMJ Geography. The competition category for "VOSICO" 2019 consists of 3 competitions, namely Student LKTIN, Student LKTIN and Student ESAI. The final of the Student Level LKTIN competition was held in the Ki Hajar Dewantara Hall of the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS), State University of Malang (UM), while the Student Level LKTIN was held in the HOS Cokroaminoto Hall.

In this final event in the field of LKTI, 10 finalists were taken from various universities for the student level and 10 finalists for the student level. For Student Essays it is different from the LKTIN system, if the best 3 categories of essays are taken directly, for the 1st place winners the Essays are won from Diponegoro University on behalf of Anggani Widya Sasongko and Bimanto Bayu Bintoro.

Eka Sandy Haryojunanto as Chairperson of HMJ Geography explained the 2019 “VOSICO” activities were running smoothly. "So VOSICO 2019 is an annual work program carried out by HMJ Geography, what distinguishes this competition from the previous year's competition is the level of the competition. In the previous year LKTIN for the student level, we tried to innovate to add this LKTIN competition to the student level, that's what distinguishes it "

Akmal Fahmi as the chief executive of "VOSICO" 2019 explained about the participants in the competition. "This year's registration for Student LKTIN totaling 198 abstracts covering 26 universities, for Student LKTIN as many as 102 abstracts covering 18 schools, then filtered again 50% from the full paper and 10 finalists were taken for today's final"

In the final, 1st place in Student Level LKTIN was won by Dicky Marsa Adythia, Muhammad Faiz Shafiyurrahman and I Gusti Agung Arvin Nanda Pratama from Gadjah Mada University. 1st Winner of Student Level LKTIN won by Moch. Zainur Rahman A, Anies Firdyanti Kusuma, and Firman Mulya Ramadhan from SMA Negeri 1 Prajekan Bondowoso.
